Cluster of Industrial silos in Volos
It involves a cluster of steel Silos for raw materials, of 500m3 capacity each, 5,70m in diameter and 23,00m in height.
The silos are founded on four-column frames made of steel profiles, 5,60m and 9,70m high so that the loading to the transport tracks can be done directly. The whole geometry of the structure and the high seismicity of the area imposed special configurations of the structural elements’ cross-sections and supports.             |
