        
1 MW Wind turbine park in Kalogerovouni, Lakonia
The project involves the construction of a wind farm with 100 wind turbines at Kalogerovouni, Lakonia. The wind turbines are manufactured by BONUS (1 MW). The wind turbine tower has a cylindrical shape with a variable cross section along its height. Its total height is 45 metres while adding the turbine and the wings it reaches 72 metres. The design was presented in 2 Hellenic National Conferences: - 2nd Seismic design Conference (Thessaloniki 2000) - 3rd Conference on steel structures (Patra 2001). end being published in the international journal "Engineering Structures".
